Our servers of food, drinks, and snacks during home games!

We serve safe food, drink and snack options for the families, visiting teams, and our area community.  In return, concessions provides a significant source of cashflow/revenue for our league (as a 501c (3) non-profit) to help supports our operating expenses, investment initiatives, and helps keep registration cost low/reasonable for our community.

Concessions staffing:
Concession staffing occurs through a scheduled rotation throughout the season involving all teams.  Each concession crew is lead by a member of the concessions committee.  Head Coaches provide the names & contact info of their teams 3 volunteers (or 6 for split time) to the concessions committee (by email, [email protected]) at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to their scheduled obligation.  If Coaches/Team Helpers are unable to obtain volunteers for their team obligation to our collective league, the concessions staffing obligation will default to the coaches/team helpers.  (*and you guessed it... the ball game is cancelled/forfeited).  Please be proactive and generous with this obligation and always remember- Schoolcraft LL is run and operated by volunteers.  Duration is 5:00p to 8:00p (or 5:00 to 6:30 & 6:30 to 8:00p for split time) for concession staffing volunteers.  Ultimately, 3 volunteers shall be present for the duration of the staffing obligation.  

Are you a "whistle while you work" kind of person?  If so, feel free to bring a portable jukebox and 'let the good times roll'...  (family/child appropriate music, aka no profanity/vulgarity)

Guidelines:
1- concessions needs to be ready for business/serving by 5:30p (games start at 6p during regular season)
2- district 15 operates that no new game innings shall start after 8pm (on school nights) 
3- minimum age requirement is 13 (with minimum of 2 adults).  *Age exceptions occur thru a parent/guardian conversation with a concessions committee member.  
4- food preparation requires a minimum age of 16
4- grilling shall be done by an adult 
5- Cash register shall be operated by an adult or concessions committee approved teenager 

*for trash bin bag swaps around the facility, a utility golf cart is available with a roll of bags and disposable gloves.  As bags accumulate, they are disposed of in the dumpster located at the Southeast corner of the Schoolcraft Township building.  See Swan Park facility map for additional information/locations here, Swan Park Info (schoolcraftlittleleague.org).
